We answer one question well: does this size actually fit?

What we do

Finding the right filter size should take thirty seconds. In practice it means digging through a scanned PDF, a fifteen-year-old forum thread, or a retailer page that wants to sell you something before it informs you. We read the manuals so you do not have to, and we show our source on every page.

How we work

Every figure we publish is read from manufacturer documentation and recorded with its document number and page. Pages carry the month they were last verified. Where installations commonly deviate from the manual — and with HVAC they often do — we say so on the page rather than pretending one number covers every home.

How we are funded

This site is supported by display advertising. Advertising has no influence over the specifications we publish: a number is either in the manual or it is not. We do not sell filters, we do not take manufacturer sponsorship, and we do not accept payment for inclusion.

What we are not

We are a reference site, not a licensed HVAC contractor. We publish dimensions and specifications. We do not diagnose faults, and nothing here replaces a qualified technician for repair, electrical, gas or refrigerant work. See our disclaimer.
